Pixie Village Shoppe is a concept and functional store curated by artist Francesca Sandover, also known by the alias Fran Skinner.
The Shoppe takes inspiration from old Celtic mythology, tradition and magic. Combining it with modern design to create a mutual feeling of understanding and togetherness.
Pixie Village Shoppe is a response to the current geopolitical environment, as well as the natural environment of dartmoor and the southwest, combined with dreams of the past and future. Altogether, being an amalgamation of imagination and reality. Hoping to inspire the viewer, each item has been curated to be a reminder of hope, joy, transformation and connectedness, in a separated and divisive world.
